Pandora can feel him - and she is, of course, like him, Other and Different, though closer perhaps in the nature of her Thirst to the dark beings who are his paternal kin, but closer to him, and to humans, in the way she handles it.

Caliban looks up the instant he smells her approaching, but doesn't move from his post, just watching her sidelong for several long minutes. Finally, he says, "This your roof?" With a touch of wry humor.

"Huh. Guess it's a good thing I carry most things on me, in case someone else takes that mindset about stuff in my room, yeah?" His tone is dry, faintly mocking, almost, but not quite. Still crouched, Caliban is watching the back of her head, wary but not scared.

Just aware of how dangerous she can be. (Not that that doesn't interest him. It does.)

"I guess it has. I promise I'm not avoiding you."
