mooore speculation on Kamui and his Wish via gchat w/Keiichi
Keiichi: you know how in xxxHolic it can be a bit of a trend that while people have certain Wishes, the results of those wishes don't turn out a certain way?

I'm torn on just how selfish I want to think Kamui is
because I feel like on one hand
Kamui's of the opinion
'a world without fuuma isn't worth saving' which is why he wants to save fuuma so badly
because fuuma's his grounding stone and the one linking him to the earth
but on the other hand, at the same time
he's grown more and more attached to humanity as a whole
the seals, keiichi, the kindness people show him
so he also wants to save the earth, he's just not. realizing it.
Keiichi: YEAH, I think that's the whole crux of the issue that CLAMP's been trying to set up, which is why the thought occurred to me
is his true wish to save the earth, or to save Fuuma, basically; and which will he choose regardless of that wish
