Hey, is anyone else getting declarations of love from spambots on their fanfic? Because seriously, nearly twenty different usernames sending me the exact same message over the course of a week....I really love LJ and I don't want to make the scary move over to DW because I would have to learn all new code and I'm a lazy fucker

I get these on my public posts in fic communities sometimes ... but never, ever in my private journal. Try turning on the thing that tracks IP address from your commenters, maybe?

I haven't seen those on LJ, no... But I have been getting these exact messages as e-card notifications on my e-mail account.

I don't attracks a lot of spam on LJ, period, not sure why you're soheavily targeted...

Whogeek and I both got that exact one this week. I've been getting it a couple of times a day. Go to delete comment, check the 3 box choices, and hit okay. Eventually admin will knock them out but it takes a couple of weeks generally. And people reporting them.

You have to block it somehow. Sanachie is exactly right with their instructions. Luckily I've never had problems, but if all you're concerned about is coding, DW uses the exact same stuff and HMTL and codes as LJ :)
