If your still thinking about doing the history teacher program I would definitely suggest going to a NY school. The only state that doesn't really accept that certificate is California. I would say NYC for a couple reasons

I probably won't get roommates. I have a sick amount of money saved up the last 4 years and I have one more extra year I extended for. So with the montthly navy money, maybe a part time job, and my savings I should be pretty well set.
Plus I didnt mention that the Veterans Affairs people give you 500 a month while your in school to help with living costs as part of "vocational rehabilitation" and there are other programs they have that I can take advantage of.
Yeah, just to clarify SUNY Geneseo is by Rochester, that was a little vague in how I put it. Though the CUNY system in NYC is great plus if you end up liking where you live down there finding a job is a cake walk.
