great post. I am one of those people that likes to get the dish on every throw I make, and at some level it's because i'm secure having the disc, but it's also a greed thing deep down. I don't really want to admit that. But I take great stock in what you say. The most rewarding experience for me this last year was getting to orchestrate plays for our O line at sectionals. It was simple pull down to me, I hit some body under then something more complex. I wasn't throwing the hucks, just getting the first touch, putting it to the right space for a cutter letting them hit the shot. It was fucking magic watching us make the moves, and then before the other team could adapt we were a step ahead, blasted it upfield for check mate. Knowing your personal range is important. I'm trying to open up my throws to go a little further in this pre-season to see how far I can take it. When I find that point, I'll have it dialed in for the second half, I think I'll start looking for no-turn weekends. I think Tyler needs to read this post ( ... )
