it was good, but i think you could've had your sentences flow more easily?
like.. they seem very point to point (especially in the beginning), which CAN be a good thing in some cases. example: Davey Havok was wandering the halls of his tiny, three-room apartment, happilly humming “Barbie Girl”. He was in a good mood, he wanted to share this mood with the world. The world didn't seem to be interested in being happy that day. No one was answering the phone, no one wanted to play with him, and Jade was asleep. He sauntered over to the balcony that looked out onto the beautiful bay.you could've maybe extended on that

i italicised it in word, but i guess it didnt carry over into the post. if i did it in chapters, it never would have gotten done.
