i decided not to get my freshman sister anything for the senior-frosh brunch. i figured she'd be weirded out if i came in with a huge card with her name on it considering we've never met. i guess that's pretty typical of me to think that. whatever, i still plan on being extremely nice to her. It's funny, because right now I see those big froshy bookbags, the wondering faces, and I know that at some point, maybe in the coming months, they'll grow to abhor the school they go to and will grow up a lot faster if they learn to deal w. bullshit effectively. Sadly, I doubt half of them will make it, though. Half of my grade is stuck in freshman year...

i love you.
fuck that little sister thing too...just chuck her in a locker.
someone will eventually bleep her and get the child out.

i was thinking that i could do that as a means of ursuline hazing when the new sixth graders start blocking the vending machine and wreaking havoc on the stairs with their rolling backpacks. "hey, if you can get yourself out of the locker then you'll REALLY be cool."

What about if they're blocking the vending machine we just tell them that like vending machines only fall on ppl like five a year, and it would be SO COOL if one fell on them.

They all wander around so innocently, thinking that it's going to get better. I sincerely hope that for them, it does. I wish I had your "It's what you make of it" attitude. But I cannot except all the blame and therefor will continue to blame ursuline for at least a portion of my unhappiness.

i really wonder how ursuline ended up attracting so many girls with the same interests... or did being in the school cultivate them that way?
eh, i don't know where i'm going with this... all i know is that the only things i can really blame TUS for are these inane little traditions and rituals.

i remember when i was a freshman thinking the seniors were so cool, especially the hip/indie ones. i wonder if i'm gonna be one of those seniors for some poor freshman soul.

i know what you mean
and the decemberists are amazing.
