hey elyse! yeah, i've seen the footage from those milgram experiments, and it was pretty surprising. i'm also very shocked that people can be so willing to conform and be obedient that they will do things like that. but by the same token... we *are* such social creatures and what the people we know, the people we care about and love do, those things hugely influence us! and what's the problem if most of what we do or say isn't original? it doesn't matter if what we do has been done before. what matters if what we do is new to us. experiences that are new to me are exciting and wonderful even if others have gone through it before. and regardless, we bring new intricasies and beauty to everything that we do.

so stay here and go play in the rain!
