Today I taught my work experience student a new word (she's from Poland originally). That word was 'hobo'. We spent a little time getting the pronunciation perfect. I feel good about myself.

Then she said 'hobos... hobos are everywhere'. Too true.

So i've been meaning to post for a while about how I was going white-water rafting, raising mone for Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland, please give me money, insert panic here etc etc. But it's over and we raised heaps of money and I can safely say that white-water rafting in Scotland does not constitute peril.
