Pirates in 3d

So, the other day I took the Tigger to see Pirates of the Caribbean 3D. This was my first time to see a picture in 3D since my early childhood when you would have those glasses with one red and one blue glass (well I suppose I should say bit of plastic, they were never very stylish nor made with much quality).

I went to see it i 2D since my companion for the occasion acropetal can't handle 3D visually, and I didn't feel that I lost out on anything. I find that with post-production 3D the result isn't usually worth it. And I knew I'd enjoy the film anyway.

I've only seen a couple of films in 3D where I really enjoyed the effects (and they didn't feel plastered on). I think Coraline was one of them.

I'll probably go and see The Hobbit in 3D, though!
