1. Pontypridd.
Their mothers would have been so proud; the way they used to stand in the middle of the road listening for approaching cars, standing still as long as possible, trying not to be the one who ran out of the road first. Luckily they were spit-brothers (two days after they met), and they would never admit to the other who had chickened out first.
It was all about who could freak the other one out the worst; in churches and abandoned buildings, in offices and on the school grounds they would play an exaggerated version of hide and seek, wherein you never had to come out if you weren't found. Darker and darker the sky would get, until the other person was practically shaking at the thought of not having found you. They soon learnt how to play the game; so calmly and collected that you acted like you didn't care where he was, and waited for him to come to you. It soon became a game of who could care less.
