Ahh, hey there everyone. I had a question for us foreigners here in Vatheon. Hmm... I'm still kind of new, but I think... that they're probably lying. Grown-ups lie a lot. But even if we don't know why, there has to be a very good reason this city is as far down in the water as it is, right...?
[ Carl considers this carefully. ] I mean, the pressure this far down isn't exactly what one would call ideal for most humans or a lot of life, for that matter. And Sis and I ARE pretty sure that this barrier is a really, really powerful Ars... so whatever they did, it had to take a lot of power to use that much magic, I think!

[ ... Pauses. ] Atlantis... I... think I read about that once! I don't really remember, though. I mean, no one in my world could even really live near such a low elevation, they'd die. I've never seen a barrier like the one here... though I have seen smaller ones, it takes a lot of work and a lot of energy to even make one, so the fact one exists here at all... it might be technology, but... I don't think so. E-either way, It's weird here, whatever it is... I mean... why is it raining in here? How is that even possible...?

Why can't anyone live in low elevations? Do you live in a post-apocalypse type world?! And yeah, there's no way there should be weather down here. I've thrown out logic when trying to deal with this place, though. It's probably that coral's fault again.
