last night i attended a snooty silent auction at spaces gallery in downtown cleveland. labelled "shags and stripes," it was a 60's-themed event with delicate desserts, limited alcohol, and people who thought they understood art. it wasn't as dramatic as the 1300 gallery opening featuring derek hess, which hosted a multitude of "artists" sporting

Yes, I sent you a facebook message about it actually. I have Thursday/Thanksgiving night free, and then pretty much all of Saturday free I think.
