but I miss the laugh at the end!!

my professors didn't like the laugh. They said laughing at your own joke is bad, because it is not funny just because you laugh. Plus, we were really pressed on time. The purpose of that cut was to eliminate a shot where we crossed the line. It looked like the guy on the couch was sitting on the opposite side in a shot. It is even more ridiculous now.

In my opinion, the laugh showed the left guy laughing at the total change of heart of the guy on the right. Not laughing at your own joke but him laughing at the fact that one minute the other guy was arguing and as soon as the beer was produced he does a 360 and now wants to be bud lightyear. KWIM?

your profs are Full of shit if they don't see that ;). It was better with the laugh!
