Hi - my name is not important.  At least not here.  I have never been able to successfully compile any kind of diary or journal and have actually tried both livejournal, blogspot, MySpace and FaceBook at least twice (each).  Maybe it's the fact that I always say what I want that makes repeating myself on paper (or cyberspace) seem redundant.  Then ( Read more... )

Doesn't it suck hiding things for the sake of others who don't want to hear?

I'm willing to listen to all the darkness you have to share.

I'm also curious about your experience in all these things as a Christian. I've come across some criticism. Not even of the abilities stuff but...$@#% people put a supposed dividing wall between being Christian and being a good psychotherapist.

Aw you are too sweet! Thank you for wanting to listen. For me Christianity has helped in many ways - it has humbled me in my experiences with my abilities - to try to seek courage from a greater power.

I have never felt that exploring other religions (or practices) was wrong. To me God wouldn't have born us into free will and then put us all in hell for using it. :)

I am very open minded then when it comes to how people should worsphip - I think that so long it's legal - I don't see why it's not okay, y'know?

And again, I think that if you are a Christian therapist, then that can aid you in several ways. It can help you practice in the ways of Jesus - as a healer, and encourage others with some of the worst "sins." You can show what compassion can do - the wonders and miracles it can make.

Sorry for going on and on - but though I am always open to what pthers belief, and love to hear about it - I also love to talk about my own (when asked of course).

See that was my take, that they're very much the same - unconditional regard and love for clients. Whatever that may be- but not judging them for what they need if they're not Christian. So I'm in class learning about past life regressions as a therapeutic technique and a Christian friend of mine condemns me for it.

And then I use a technique in describing myself and another insists it's not a subpersonality but a demon and I need an exorcism.

And all I can think is, way to show Christian love. And I can't seem to convince her that anger is a normal part of life and while forgiveness is good, we shouldn't be discouraged from being human and having our emotions...that's what creates the need for people in my business anyway! Argh.

Please don't feel like you need to wait to share until asked, I am always happy to learn people's perspectives on things, whatever you feel like sharing :)

And see that's how I feel about others sharing their beliefs with me! :) I'm want them to know that I wouldn't condemn no matter what they'd say ( ... )
