Edit: Slightly more coherent-- I'm guessing Team Eagle's goal of crushing Konoha is about revenge for Sasuke. It was on Konoha's order that he lost his brother and his family and his entire world all at once. It was because of Konoha's silence that he spent his entire life hating the one person who loved him most, believing something that wasn't true. Itachi died for Konoha, and I don't think Sasuke believes Konoha measures up to that honour. He'll crush it for demanding his brother's life and not being worthy of it.
If I'm wrong about this, and Sasuke is actually going to crush Konoha to spite Itachi and everything he lived for, then I'm going to have an extremely painful falling out with this manga. If Sasuke's going to be that much of a bastard, I'm not going to like the direction the story goes in, probably.
Another thought that just occurred to me: if Sasuke tries to destroy Konoha, Naruto and Sakura will try and stop him. Sasuke = end boss, y/n?
