I'm actually rather fond of Drusilla/Darla for femmeslash fics. And Faith/Buffy.

Well, femmeslash just means two female characters paired in a sexual relationship. Whether it's canon or not doesn't really matter. ^___^

I always thought slash implied non-canon, same sex relationships. I just got into a discussion about the term with someone yesterday, and we couldn't decide if using the term slash for a canon gay couple was neccessary. Fandom language is confusing!

The way I see it, it used to just refer to the backslash put between character names used to denote a relationship. For example, Spike/Buffy. Then fandom warped it to refer only to homosexual relationships, but I've never heard of it being restricted to non-canon couples only. Might be a new rule I just haven't heard of yet. @___@

Giles was what made me start watching Buffy. I'm such a sucker for a sexy man with an accent. The show being awesome was just another perk. (I just bought season four the other day, actually. I never bought the DVDs when they came out because I was stupid and thought, "I have the episodes taped off TV, what else do I need?" Turns out I need DVDs, especially because stupid younger me didn't label half the damn tapes, so I've been buying sets whenever they go on sale. Best Buy was cheap this week, yay.)

Oh, man. I thought I was meh on all Buffy slash ships. Buffy/Faith, not so much. Buffy/Willow, naaah. But Buffy/Cordelia? Lovers spats over who borrowed whose lipstick and got it over whose very expensive shirt, god I love it.

But Giles/Buffy NEVAH. If I need some old sexy/young sexy ship, I will ship Auron/Yuna. Which has all the forbidden unsent/sender taboo.It's like Buffy/Angel if Angel looked a bit older and had sex with knew Buffy's daddy.
