Val's in her staffquarters room, flitting around like a chicken with her head cut off. She is passing out clothing to bridesmaids, groomspeople, and just generally trying not to worry too much. Knock on the door. Someone might answer.

The door opens on a street, a very primitive street. The weather is hot, and the suns' rays blistering. People are wearing simple, outfits, made to be cooling in the heat. Everyone seems to be wandering here and there, minding their own business in the early afternoon.
