JR dropped a bomb this morning. He has a few days vacation left and plans to use them during the rest of his notice period. That effectively makes today his last day.

5/2/05 - This is getting pretty repetitive. Heh. I do need to focus more on keeping back tension and getting my grip on the release right. I found myself kind of just going through the motions and pounding out arrows instead of concentrating on getting each step of the shot sequence correct. 4/30/05 - There were a couple guys at the club when I arrived, so I wasn't able to go up close as I wanted. I even waited until later in the evening, thinking I'd have the place to myself. 4/28/05 - First night of blank/blind baling. Shot 60 arrows from 20 yards with eyes open. Found myself aiming anyway, but still concentrating better on keeping release hand from relaxing. Shot straight through without a break. Could feel transfer of weight from index to middle finger when holding properly. Could not feel as well when fingers ( Read more... )

Regular indoor league ended last week. My team won the first half (autumn), and my wife's team won the second half (winter, go figure!). We are Tuesday night teams. Last night we had a shoot off to determine the winner for Tuesday night. My team won, three games to one. Now we have to shoot against Monday night's winner to determine first place.
