Leasing Cars

So I'm considering buying or leasing a new car. I was thinking about leasing since I'll just be around school for the first year, and hopefully won't drive the mileage up too much. Anyone have any horror stories on leases or cars? I'm leaning towards not getting one, but the Saab is getting old and I don't want to be in NY with a broken car,

if you're in rochester, leasing is probably the better idea. cars just don't last more than 10 years up there.
