I don't really see WHY you are moving out.. you are staying in the city so travel costs won't be too bad. And if you stay at home you get all your Laundry and Food sorted free (Unless your parents decide to charge rent).

Still, good luck with finding a place, I didn't bother getting a student loan either, just more debts for at the end of the course IMO.

Actually I figured it out, if I put the loan into a savings account I make a PROFIT on my DEBT.

Well, you still can get a loan, but if you apply now I don't think you'll get it until christmas at the earliest. And I suppose you are right with the profit thing, I have a 4% interest savings acccount which gives me a fair bit of cash per year already, a loan into that would be very nice.
