Fast forward is the way to go. It sure worked for my second marriage - we had a lengthy engagement but our priest sat us down and said 'Look, you guys are obviously in love, you've both been married before, you're not a pair of dumb kids, you both are employed. Why are you waiting?'

So we got married the next month. Why wait, indeed?
