1. Ooo Asian studies. You don't seem to be getting much Japanese study exposure for someone with an emphasis on it :\ Being ahead of everyone sucks too huh? Is there any way you can be placed ahead or skip to more advanced classes? I'm not sure how your school system works... It's totally ok to not know what you're going to be doing after school lol, you have time ^^
2. You translated and timed Harry Potter? LOL that's awesome. And sounds really looooong, you didn't do it with all the movies did you?
3. You sound like one of the quick smart kids that always got skipped grades because you were too smart for the curriculum :D It's amazing though that you know so many languages, I'm totally envious!
4. Not a fan of big noisy cities? I'm curious how small and quiet Riga is then, wonder what city I know would be a good comparison.

1. I just get the feeling they don't want people to leave because of having too much to do/memorize, 'cause HEEEEY, THAT'S MONEY. one of our lecturers said she doesn't like how slow the programme has become either. And about skipping... One thing's for sure, we don't have any sophomores atm, because they didn't take anybody in last year. And even though I'm dying from boredom in class, I better do that than just sit at home

Owh and that's so cool to major in Asian studies! Seems like fun~ and I love languages too! Hehehe.. But now that i think about it, i had no 'official' background at all in learning Japanese =X I planned to take a course last summer, but they had no teacher! So yea.. wait! i remembered that the requirement for STORMY was something like must know the language well, right? LOL i think i never mentioned anything about it XD And truthfully, i think i only pass the criteria that says you must be an Arashi fan *don't kick me out please XD*

LOL. well, frankly, you did have mistakes in your test, but not as much as other applicants xD I don't think I've mentioned anything about knowing Japanese, because we only decided to add that part when we got a dozen of applications from people who seriously don't know the language at all. not to mention that an ideal timer should be able to catch mistakes the translator makes. but noooo, we won't kick you outttt~ xD I actually take pride in accepting you HAHA.
