hokay, so there's this speech contest in March that I never really cared about until I found out that they're giving away electronic dictionaries to theeeee best 3? since this is practically a chance to get it for free... any ideas? any topic is allowed, I can even ramble about Arashi, but if I do, 5 minutes won't be enough

Oooh that sounds awesome!! open topic, eh? Over the summer I had to do a speech for my summer school speech contest. I got second place and they gave me a frickin' oven toaster LMAO XDDD I can just give you my speech?? HAHA XDD I wrote about blood types and personalities lol. You could talk about ARASHI but it would have to be not-flaily (T_T) Who's the audience? XD

LOL I think your speech is definitely not going to look like I wrote it myself xDDD But thank you for offering your help! ^^ maybe I should read it to get an idea of what a normal speech should look like ._. And I've no idea who's the audience x'D It's a contest held between students and pupils from that cultural school thing, where, according to my friend, they take years to memorize kana ._.

yeah, I can already see Inoue-sensei's "gaaaaaan" face saying "mata Arashi kaaaa" xD Arashi might be dangerous though, since there's going to be one more Japanese teacher (from that school?) who might be a JE hater XD

hahaha XDD I don't have a manuscript of my speech (since the school took it to put on their website or smth O_o) but I do have a recorded video of me doing my crappo speech if you wanna see it LOL XD

Even if the topic's free for all, you should probably still write about something Japanesy? XD Or maybe how the internet helps you stay in touch with Japan despite being in Latvia... XDD
