"This is the last of it," Mitsuru said as the (most likely Kirijo-owned) movers left the last boxes in the living room and bowed before leaving. It was a much nicer apartment than one would expect for two teenage girls, with a large living room and kitchen, two bedrooms, and plenty of storage space, but she was a Kirijo after all; Mitsuru had sold ( Read more... )

Yukari couldn't hide her amazement at the state of the apartment. It was...big. And clean and in an nice part of town to boot. The last apartment she had stayed in had been with her mom and her boyfriend at the time (a relationship that had lasted 7 months) had been near Shiragawa Boulevard, two blocks away from a love hotel. Its state of repair was...barely tolerable at best. Was this how it felt to go from rags to riches?

It took a few minutes for Yukari to register what Mitsuru had said. "Hm? Oh, no, I don't mind." Maids? How did you ever get used to maids?

Chuckling, she answered, "Senpai, the only thing I have to hide are some bad DVDs I decided to buy." And those romantic comedies that Junpei would have teased her about forever. Yukari winced at the thought. Hey, Yuka-tan, you gonna need me to get you some tissues? She could pratically hear his drawl now. Ugh, Stupei. She grabbed the closest box and plopped down on the floor in the hope that she'd find respite in sifting through its contents.

She chuckled a bit and knelt down, proper posture as always even as she tore the tape off the top of one of the boxes. "All right, then. I thought I should ask to make sure. Some people are more private than others." I'll leave my clothes to unpack in my room, she considered as she took out a stack of books. They'll be easier to move when still in the box. She had spent quite a long time organizing everything into labeled boxes back in the dorm, and she was going to make full use of that now that she was here.
