In massive flashbacks to college, I have been playing a crapload of Halo these days (and holding my own amongst the boyfriend's lametastic friends, thankyouverymuch) and find myself dreaming first person Halo-esque dreams at night. God I miss Halo -- I haven't played at all since the last time I was at Quad. I'm jealous :-).

It's still pretty fun out here with my boyfriend's mates--but they aren't very good and they are intimidated by my Halo prowess. I miss playing w/ the Varsity.

Just for clarification's sake, does the "lametastic" refer to the fact that they are still playing Halo while in their "adult" twenty-somethings? Or that they still play Halo while in their "adult" twenty-somethings and aren't very good?

In fact, the "lametastic" actually applies to them in most facets--I'm not their hugest fans. Not that they are bad guys, but, they are all friends that grew up together from grade school, so they basically act like moronic monkey turds when hanging out together. It is true that they aren't very good at Halo, but that's OK... it's also OK that they play computer games into their 20 somethings. Speaking of which, I have to go play more Super Mario Sunshine.
