Teaching Latin to Deaf kids- Crazy? or Crazy enough that it just might work?

I can't see why it wouldn't work, considering that it's not really a spoken language, anyway. Unless you mean as a career path, in which case, that seems awfully specific to me.

Not exactly sure how it would work. Most of the foreign languages actually have their own sign language (gotta be really careful what you sign when you're overseas!) However, since it's not a spoken language now (except in the Vatican), it wouldn't have it's own signs soooo? Would take alot of thinking to figure out how to do this one. Teaching foreign languages to deaf people is always a trick, especially since Enlish is a foreign language to them. Hence, almost every college in the nation waives the foreign language requirement for deaf students. Good luck figuring it out.
