For today, we are all Hokies.
I've been pretty somber all day today. I felt real sadness today, I'm not sure I ever really have before. I'm usually angry about things but today I'm just sad. More than a handful of my high school classmates attend Virginia Tech, and I'm pretty sure all of them are fine. I need a dress consult
So, I've been shopping for a dress for Adriel's wedding and oddly enough, after going into 3 stores and finding nothing I liked, I found 3 things I liked in another store. The farthest away, of course. Anywho, I need a consult. I've been watching way too much Grey's Anatomy and House. Uh yeah, back to dresses.

I got to teach today! For real! Donna went home early today sick, which was terrible. However, I got the opportunity to teach for real. They couldn't find a sub so one of the secretaries came in for the morning and then in the afternoon the lower school director came in but I still had near complete control of the classroom and it was super! We have fun at iSold it... :-D This is a kayak and I'm wearing a reproduction nazi hat. Which I now own. It was in the donation pile and it seemed like I could have use for it sometime. I may just blo-pen it and make it really fun. It's pretty heavy though.

Week 3 of 16. Today was my last day at the writing center until next fall :( I'm now down to 32 hours/week + 5 classes. Significantly more manageable. Also, it's getting much nicer outside so now I can do work outside and feel much better. I'm kind of like superman that way. It was lovely to not wear my coat today, though I do love my coat. No more freaking out.
So last night I actually wrote out my schedule on a spreadsheet, since the new semester started yesterday. Turns out I'm taking 5 classes (16 units) and working 40+ hours/week. News!
Not as exciting as Shanna's news, but, I got a haircut. An actual, exciting haircut. Not like the past forever haircuts that have all been essentially the same, but at different lengths. It's short and lovely and I don't have to brush my hair anymore. Vicki, you should get a haircut. ;) They're all the rage ( Read more... )
