Where the hell is my B: drive?

Dec 31, 2004 01:17

Alright, if floppys go in the A: drive, CDs go in the D: drive, and the C: drive is the hard drive, what the hell is the B: drive?

This troubles me, does my computer have some sort of imput thingy I don't know about?

B used to be the old 5.25" floppy disc drive, back when you'd have both a 3.5" and a 5.25" floppy drive for compatibility's sake.

I guess that makes sense . . . I just thought the big floppys were older than the little floppys, so they should have a highter letter . . . .

actually to be correct the letter of the drive means jack shit... my C: drive is actually my Q: drive because i wanted it to be that! so you may have a dual partitioned HD and have both a C and B drive? there is really no way to tell without you posting some cpu info.... ie msinfo

Well, mostly I just kindof realized that as I was getting into bed, and it bugged me just enough that I could sleep. So I posted.
