Because I apparently go from no contact for months --> posting like a mofo. This may also be the influence of the nice pinot I had instead of with dinner. So now I'm going to bug my friends list for inspiration courtesy of some meme-age that's making the rounds:

(And if I could get you to watch Revolution, and write it, I would totally choose the college professors AU ;)

I'm afraid I'm not familiar enough with X-Men to do Rogan justice, but I love the idea of Veronica/Weevil in the airport!

Revolution is totally on my to-watch list if only because of all of those hot tumblr pics you post. In the meantime, though, I just inhaled the first five episodes of The 100 and I think I'm already hooked - are you watching that one? It has the same kind of post-apocalyptic-landscape-with-hot-actors vibe, and the characters are pretty wonderful.

Funny story - I sometimes get my fandoms mixed up. There is a writer in the Xmen/Rogan fandom who has a very similar name to yours, and that was my brainfart in assuming you were one and the same. It happens ;)

And I will be thoroughly satisfied with some Veronica/Weevil in the airport;)

And yes, Revo should be on your to-watch list. Funnily enough The 100 was the "get over cancellation" drug of choice for a lot of Revo fans (post apocalyptic worlds for the win) and I watched the entire season 1 just a few days before going on holiday.

It was interesting television, though I'm not sure the characters will haunt me in the same way the Revo characters have. And I have to admit, having characters closer to my own age for once is a nice treat - they come with such intense backstory that the youngsters (beautiful as they may be!) just don't have, yanno?

Haha, I think I would completely get my fandoms mixed up if only I had a few more to get mixed up with...this is my summer project!

I actually hadn't realized Revolution was cancelled! :( How many seasons did it end up being? And I totally agree about it being refreshing having some of us old farts as main characters who get to do stuff - that was one of the things I liked about Point Pleasant, cheesy as it was, it was cheese across a big bunch of age ranges. I was kind of hoping that the adults back at the space station would have more stuff to do on The 100, but it sounds like that isn't going to be the case.
