I...don't think it is to anyone except me at this point? I always thought Frannie was enough of a train-wreck and that she had enough baggage with her father that she'd make an incredible apprentice for Jack - in fact, at one point both Frannie and Jack had versions of "I Put a Spell on You" playing as background music to their activities (his was Nina Simone, hers was Marilyn Manson), and to this day I believe that the original writers were going in that direction rather than coming up with the Sharon character.

I never thought about that before but OMG! You are so right!

Plus... love Alex/Tiffany! The battle for the curling iron every morning would be EPIC!

The original writers for season 1 were very consistent about the little details they put into the episodes, so even if the 'ship was never going to happen I really think they were considering Frannie as a possible apprentice - at least that's my fangirly story and I'll be sticking to it. *G*

I think Alex and Tiffany would only survive if they had separate bathrooms and closets - they don't strike me as ladies who share well.

It makes sense.

They would absolutely need separate bathrooms, closets... and refrigerators. "Tiffany! Did you eat the last organic non-fat yogurt?!?"

I really like the VM novel! I have the second one being shipped to me as we speak, apparently. I pre-ordered it back in October.

All your ships sound interesting, even if I only know two of them. My poor brain, I wanted to do this, and it was like "umm ships we have?" I came up with one that felt OTP status. ONE. Dammit is my fannish leaking out of me?

I'm enjoying the novel too - am about halfway through it right now and the pacing and characterization are really perfect. I'm sure I'll order the second novel as soon as I'm done.

I share your pain of fannish leakage - I realize that the vast majority of things I'm shippy over are closed canon (and VM is sorta/kinda still open what with the movie and books, but it's not the same as having a new episode to squee over every week). Damn you, adulthood, stop making me old and uninterested! :P
