Some notes and private entry.

[Private]

I find myself at an absolute loss in my dealings with Davros. It has become obvious to me that, if I wish to draw him into conversation, I must be initiate it - and yet I have absolutely no desire to do so. He has been unaffected by port and flood, to my knowledge, and so there is little to discuss. Progress of any sort will be slow, I suspect.

At the very least, he has assumed some questionable role in the library.

I have decided to simply involve myself with him more than is strictly necessary; perhaps socialization is the key to rehabilitation. I'm painfully aware that any company I can offer is wholly insufficient, but perhaps even drawing him into conversation...

21's rehabilitation was much more straightforward. Despite my complaints about the simplistic assignment, I would happily trade Davros and have him back again.

Potter, if he was ever aboard at all, appears to have gone. There have been no further posts from him, and Longbottom has said nothing publicly. As for Longbottom himself, the garden he requested is rather impressive, loathe as I am to compliment anything produced by that boy. It certainly has generated interest amongst the residents here. I'm in need of several ingredients, and I suspect a request to the admiral for more will result in my being directed to Longbottom. I've decided to skip the middle man, as it were.

As I promised, I've been making attempts to develop a potion for Max Guevara's tri-monthly problem, though whether she will accept anything from me after our last conversation is doubtful. For someone who regularly experiences this issue, and works aboard a prison ship, it's strange that she has such a thin skin. In any event, I can hardly be expected to properly study the effects of anything I create unless I have someone on whom I can test it. A laboratory rat, you might say.

...It's a pity James Kirk is gone; as oversexed as he is, he would have made a fine test subject.

Grindelwald has been grasping more insistently for my attention. It seems to chafe at him that I want nothing to with him or his twisted ideals. Perhaps he simply wants the company of his own kind, but I've had enough of one Dark Lord to last me ten lifetimes.

On a less serious note, if one more person compares me to Hans Gruber, I'm going to hex them.

[Private to Neville]

I am in need of belladonna and aconite.

[Private to Martha]

If you have time to spare, I am in need your assistance.

[Public]

I am conducting a study which will require several volunteers who meet a narrow spectrum of specifications. I'm sure we can discuss some form of compensation.

If you are an inmate, you must have your warden's permission.

Any volunteers must give me consent to view your recent medical history.

[Private to Davros, as if it's an afterthought.]

You have some knowledge of chemistry, do you not?
