I have a question to put to those of you who have been here for as long as, if not longer than, I. I suppose it then falls to Mozenrath, Captain Adams, Major West, and the like - though I'm sure there are others who wish to express their highly valuable opinion on the matter.

Given what I've read in the copy of the Prophet I received from Martha, the Ministry appears to have decided that I was not actually who they thought I was. I was, instead, someone who:
"'...clearly made the attempt in order to besmirch [Snape's] good name,' reported a Ministry official during a brief statement made Tuesday afternoon."
Imbeciles.
Apparently this supposed impostor decided to sit in Azkaban for two months to make his point before suddenly disappearing into thin air, though I see nothing about that in the article.
