It seems so... odd. It is almost like fate was challenging me specifically. In 5 years I hadn't even thought of a relationship... and within months of having so many long conversations with you about my lack of wish for one, how I didn't think I would find what I was looking for, and how I was perfectly content with the impossibility you presented, I get smacked in the face with this.

Sounds like someone has been raising their eyebrow and tapping their foot at me, honestly. A challenge? Methinks so.
