WIP, something I'm drawing for my grandmother, who's more than 90 years old and jokingly told me she's 'given up' and doesn't want to try for 110. hahaha!!! Don't mind the quality, it's late night here and i got a dim light. =/
It's just one pencil I'm using. I'm thinking when it's done, and it looks finished I'll spray it fixed. Buuuut, maybe if it needs to be darker, I'll add another layer with a darker pencil. We'll see cos I need to finish it before the year ends when we visit my grandmother's place (our relatives live 12 hours drive away) and this was actually supposed to be her 'birthday' present but I didn't have a good photo of her until now. =B
About traveling--yeah, I'm getting over the fact I won't be able to travel out of South East Asia until I get a job or get married and have children (not for a long time!). So I have to accept it and now I'm determined to go around here.
You know, you put up photos of Lithuania before--it looks so nice there! Why don't you pick up your camera and take lots of photos. Maybe that'll help foreigners come visit your country and they can open new tourist spots. Or, how come you don't visit your mom in UK and stay there for a while? :) ever heard of a gap year?
AH, even if it's one pencil, my brain still cannot contemplate how the heck you do that people XD;; When you emphasize the time you need to get your relatives... I just have this face "DDD8" lol. my country is small, the longest trip takes about 4-5 hours by car.
Ahaha, so, which option sounds better to you? getting married or finding a job? :D
Well, my camera is an old thignum that takes not so good photos, haha. Plus, I'm not traveling here... but I know there are so many great places! I just need to get my driver's license and a car :D then, I'll grab my friend, who's not keen on going somewhere else than our city >> even thou', she's a great driver!
About visiting Mom. Well, I was with her whole summer and now, only my Dad can go there -- I must study and nothing more blablabla >> I would love to take a gap year but I'm half through being a third year student, not the best time to stop...
wow, 4-5 hours by car?! maybe it's just straight road. I mean, it only takes 12 hours because when we hit the mountains, it's zig-zag, and also it's traffic in some towns. City planning sucks here. =/
My camera's not that great either as you can see--that's why we have photoshop! hahaha! but yeah, I think it's also good for your mind, you really evaluate your life when you're sitting in some strange place and letting the time go by. So go get your license and get out~and bring your friend :D
