Ok so now that I'm completely aware of it. If you are gonna take something hot and heavy out of the oven, please use a thick dish rag or oven mitt, not a skimpy dish rag. Because the heat WILL go through the rag and burn your fingers! Now I have lovely, painful blisters on all of my fingers on my right hand. :-S

Lesson learned!!

Owie owie owie! Reminds me of an incident at my parents--my mom doesn't like to throw stuff out and around Thanksgiving once I grabbed a pan with an oven mitt, except the stuffing was all gone in one spot. But that was just one blister.
You are right handed too, aren't you?

Yes I am. Its gonna be an interesting week working with kids and having these. Guess I can teach them to not touch the stove or anything hot lol. I can always manage to turn stuff that happens to me into life lessons for the kids.
