Attention Pennsylvanians: Sen. Pat Toomey voted "NO" on ending the shut-down and raise the debt ceiling. Let's get this clown OUT of office when he runs again people.

Also, whoever voted Ted Cruz into office - never mind burning in hell, people, let me worry about my soul. You just worry about why you think this clown is Senator material.

Plenty of Texans did NOT vote for Ted Cruz. Alas, the crazies tend to turn out more.

I always think of Texas as being this big, open, ranch-filled state of independent thinkers. And yet the same state that gave us LBJ also has so many well, fundamentalist nut-jobs.

I don't think Ann Richards could get elected today, and that's really sad. What the heck happened to people in the past 20 years? Pennsylvania is just as conservative as Texas, if not worse, and I can't figure out what everybody is so terrified of. As long as my neighbor isn't frying my cat or attacking children or killing people, what difference does it make to me if said neighbor wants to worship Satan or wear prom gowns to work?

It just boggles me beyond anything that there sits some asshat like Ted Cruz, who has money, never wonders where the next mortgage payment is coming from (if he even has a mortgage to pay), has the best (and free to him) healthcare plan on the planet because he's in Congress, can sit there and go "Oh hell no, we're going to crash the bus of state because darn it!" And all because of some dumbass reasoning that I can't make any kind of sense out of no matter how hard I try...seriously, Obama is the Antichrist? These unkind, unChristian Repug/Tea Partiers - THEY are the embodiment, to me, of evil. Evil isn't Satan and a pitchfork. Evil is some body with money in the bank, a good job, and their health kicking back and saying "Let my brothers starve."
