There's been a whole new slew of recalls for pet food happening over the past 2 weeks or soand it's come into light that many of the pet food companies are lying about the ingredients in the food (it's not against the law for them to do this apparently

Also, I feed my cat dry Science Diet "Nature's Best" it doesn't have any of the rice goodies in it. It has "Brewers Rice" but that's the only form of rice in the stuff. Plus, my cat loves it and it hasn't popped up on any lists of bad crap.

But, of course, I only recoomend this for those of us who don't have time or patience to feed them raw stuff and buying taurine...but that's just me.

Granted, if this stuff I use was all of a sudden on the bad list, I would make the raw goodies...but this food has every one of the raw stuff you list. :] Just in case.

It's the left over waste rice from brewing beer, or other fermented products. :[
