You know, when Jews were persecuted in Germany and the rest of Europe during the 1920s and 1930s, several of them came to the United States. These included such notables as Henry Kissinger and Albert Einstein.
I do not mean to compare the US government with Hitler's National Socialist regime (that would be a glaring historical error and piss poor judgement on my part!). I only mean to say that when a group of people is persecuted, they will often leave the country persecuting them and take their talents along.
