Remember not to push yourself too soon, too fast. Worry about covering the distance, not speed. When I was training for the 5k and 10k, it was hard at first. The second week is a bitch and then you get to the third and fourth week and suddenly you start feeling good about yourself. Good luck, Emily!:)
