i worried about the passion too. it was one of my biggest worries, until i realized who would be taking over my team.
you have it. my worrying is over. i see in you girls' faces and i love it.
our team is something you truly will never forget. and no matter how good your college team may be, the friends you may make, nothing will ever replace the maidens.

gosh em. you and your entries. always so tear-y.

Don't expect or even hope too much that your new team will "have the same passion for the team and for the sport -- thats the only way to win. To have true passion - the want and need to be the best." This way, if the passion is not there, you won't be disapointed. Because no one can have the amount of passion the Maidens have (alumni and current players). What the Ironmaidens have is something truley special, to the point it is hard to find others like us. The amount of passion we have is not because individually we all love lacrosse. It is because of the comrodiry and bond we have with each other. A bond that can never be replaced by others. However, this bond will always be there, no matter what, It stays with us forever. So know matter what, you will have the passion and the memory (even more so w/ Erikson there) and that is what matters the most.
