Final Entry

This is Emschin's daughter Cindy. My mother passed away last night at the Lawlis Hospice. I was with her until 8pm and then went home to sleep. Shortly after 10pm, the nurse came in to check on her. She was sleeping comfortably. The nurse went to check another patient. When she came back to Mom's room a few minutes later, Mom had passed. Peacefully

I'm so sorry Cindy, Melissa and Devonne.

She was special to many of us here including me. She was so sweet.. I really did consider her my adopted internet Mom. I'm so sad :(

She had an extraordinary mind when she was active here and I so admired her inquisitive nature. More importantly she was a truly good and compassionate woman and noth Manolo and I loved her. Love to you, Dev and Melissa...and hugs and peace.

Your mom was so enjoyable to "visit" with when she was here, and I loved the way she was always looking for more stuff to learn about. I've certainly missed her chatty, folksy posts.

I can't believe how quickly this all took place, but it's so nice to know there's no more pain or discomfort for her.
