Well yesterday I worked in davison, and it was the EASIEST day ever. We had four calls, all of which i ended up not havin to do a thing with. In genesee county we have sheriff deputies who are also paramedic units. They can take police calls.. pull people over ... all that good cop stuff. Just got home from work. I had to hold over an hour and a half cuz one of the other medics (who we all call CB, short for crack bitch, ) was late getting to work. Yesterday was quite busy. yeah.. yesterday was my third shift. Getting into this paramedic thing ok. Im finding that I dont have to be as scared as I have been. Im getting my IV's, getting stuff done that needs to get done, all before reaching the ER's, and Im not killing anyone! Only had a couple of calls yesterday. Well I just got in from my second day as a paramedic.. and the second day at ERS. Right now its about 1440hrs, and my shift was supposed to end at 0700. Well... today was my very FIRST day as a paramedic. Day started out slow enough. My ops manager john told me when i got to work that I would prolly not be running any calls today.
