so, i quit target, and a week later started working at summertime fun for kids. immediately after summer time fun for kids, i had to do vbs. now, not even a week after vbs, I will be starting a new job at gymboree!! life is good. God treats me well, and for that, i am eternally grateful.

ed, victoria, ian and i ran down to dublin yesterday. 10 bucks to see the street dogs, which was a pretty great irish punk band. i believe the lead singer was the lead to the dropkick murphey's back in teh 90's. because moshing is "dangerous" they wouldn't allow it, but they had a "circle pit" which was, not equally as fun, but fun nonetheless. well, so far so good. they said they "loved" me.

the only misgiving they have is that the largest block of time they are open conflicts with my class schedule... but it seems that they REALLY want me to work for them!

that's a great feeling.

interestingly enough, if i get the job, i will be working right next to the north canton target.

so, the place was expecting anywhere upwards of 20 to show up for the interview, 4 replied with a definite "yes," but yet there were only 3 of us at the interview. it was 2 hours long, but in she was thorough, and let us know exactly what she expected of us, and gave us demonstrations of what a day might look like. i find out next friday whether ( Read more... )
