I just got back from a wake. A friend I grew up with, her mother just passed away. Very suddenly. Literally, she didn't feel well, and a few days later, just didn't wake up. And she and her brother were crying when my mom and I walked in and it's been very sobering since. I just can't get out my head that that could easily be my mom. And I

I have a friend whose father passed away last week. Cancer. He didn't know about it until it was too late. We're going to visit my dad tomorrow. I'm glad for that.
