First week of school.

I love teaching! My students are so good! I get to lecture about literary elements and The Red Badge of Courage. I think my students like me. They always say goodbye and they tell me I am their favorite teacher. Yes, that makes me feel self righteous. I would hate to be the hated teacher. Though, I do give a lot of homework. Sounds like the year's off to a good start. Not that they always end that way, but it certainly helps to be optimistic and hopeful in the beginning!

Yeah, I know it doesn't always end up like that. Every new job I've ever had I start off really optimistic and then it goes to shit. I'm hoping this won't be the same way! :-)
