I still catch up on livejournal, but I hardly ever update because I am SOOO freaking busy! I was ON CRACK the day I decided to be an English teacher. oh GAWD! The essays.
I was a dummy and assigned my sophomores 2 paragraphs due today, one was worth 20 points on their test. As much as I don't want to read them, I HATE it when they don't turn them in. Especially the test points! And my seniors, they had a whopping 3 paragraph essay due yesterday. I don't want to grade those either.
The 16th is my last day until February, so I'm pretty apathetic (kind of like my students).
That's awesome about the kids bringing their editorials. I rarely get 100% from any of mine (well, I guess that comes with the territory of teaching though).
Glad things are going well.
