I bought a house! Well, almost. I already signed the "intent to purchase" contract, the loan is approved, and the inspector is coming tomorrow morning. I am very excited! It's going to be a lot of fun.

It's comforting to know that the start of another school year is rough on other people too. I'm a little nervous about starting another school year. I have had a few nightmares about the first day of school. Most of them involve either looking like an idiot or not being prepared. But of course, nothing could be worse than my first year of teaching.

You might want to burry the crab. It might start to smell. But it's hard to know what to do. As Scarlet got older, I was terrified that she would die when we were in the old apartment. We couldn't have buried her then. She would have just gone in the dumpster, which is so wrong for a loving companion.
