This is exactly why I post about it - I don't want to start blaming others for my underachievement even in a few years "when I grow up". A public statement will do me good in the long run.
What I meant is that the color of your shirt is only coming into play when you're good enough of a dancer to get noticed. I tend to wear pink anyway though :-)

Yes, to remain positeve means doing quite hard inner work sometimes. But it does worth it thousand times!
Being harsh with those who tries to encourage you when you feel awfully, is the last thing to do.
I had one terrible day on MSDC this year, I was really disappointed by myself and totally depressed. One person seen my state and tried to help me. I am afraid, I was rude in return. I was wrong. When I saw the sincere misunderstanding and pain in the eyes of this person, my mind has just exploded with the guilt, but I could not already change anything.
I will remember those eyes and I'll try never let this repeat, because acting this way is childish, selfish and just unfair towards people who really like you and just try to help when you feel bad. And awareness of this fact is one of the most valuable experiences I had received at this event.
