Status Luna is not too fond of her Tale, especially the euphemisms that can be made from it. She doesn't like to bring it up, but if someone asks she is usually too nice to not answer. Usually. Unless the person who asks her is someone she feels certain will make an ass joke. Then she'll tell them to piss off. She is also a bit pissed off about the fact that her Tale is fading. She still retains a lot of her strength, thanks to the amount of Fables that include the Ass, though she is more susceptible to colds and the odd flu than she would be normally. However, she knows that this is possibly her last life and she is trying to make the best of the time she has, and spread the word so that other Tales won’t face the same fate.
Ability None, but she does have some of the Ass's characteristics, especially in regards to dressing up and being stubborn. But don't tell her that or she'll hit you.
Luna was born and raised in Manchester, England until her family moved to Indiantown, Florida when she was thirteen years old. She is the only daughter of David and Sara Jones. Her father is a well-known pop star and actor, so Luna grew up quite cozily with four older stepsisters (from her father’s previous marriages). Her mother is a children’s author and homemaker. Rather than attending school, Luna was home-schooled by both her parents. This allowed the family to be very active in each other’s lives and affairs. Her parents shower her with love and attention, and have always been very supportive of her.
With a musician father and an author mother, it should be no surprise that she is both musical and imaginative. Although she is a celebrated jazz pianist, she can also play the guitar, the violin and sing. When she’s not making music, she spends a lot of her time writing in her diary. She mostly writes about her life, but an occasional poem slips in here and there.
Once she completed her home-schooling, her father granted her with enough money to move anywhere she desired. She chose New York City, which is where young would-be stars often make their debuts. Her father himself moved there from Manchester when he was just starting out. He is very supportive of this move, however he misses his youngest child tremendously and takes every opportunity to come visit her and/or make touring plans with her.
Despite having a cozy home life and a loving family, Luna is very glad to be on her own now. She has always been an independent person and is glad to finally be free to spread her wings and fly. Before moving to New York, her name had already led to her being hired at several upscale clubs and concert halls. The only problem now is that she has all this freedom and doesn’t know quite what to do with it.
It took Luna until she was eighteen to fully realize her past life as an ass. Since she was so adamant against being labeled such a thing, she refused to believe it until the memories of all her past self’s adventures started rushing to the front of her mind as she blew out the candles on her eighteenth birthday cake. Memories of dressing up in lion costumes, being sold to tanners, etc. began making there way back into the poor girl’s mind. All the confusion almost drove her into a nervous breakdown and she locked herself in her room for a week. Her parents had no idea what had come over her [because, naturally she couldn’t tell them-who would believe that?] and they vowed to never give her birthday cake again if it made her act so strangely.
Once the initial shock and disbelief was gone, she came out of her room, keeping her past life a secret from her family and everyone else who knew her. She was glad of it once she discovered the Tale network and was able to connect with other people like her. Finally things began to make sense to her. However, she still hates being written down an ass!
Luna is a very unique individual. She is an old soul trapped in an 20-year-old’s body. She has been declared a musical genius by the sort of people who claim such things, but she prefers to think of herself as merely a good musician-always striving to perfect her craft. Often seen as spunky or unconventional, Luna is all about being herself and not being afraid of what others think. She is a good friend to have in your company because she not only makes one feel more confident but she is also one to bring out the best in people.
Luna is often setting unrealistic goals for herself. Not because they’re unreachable for her, but because she very seldom remains dedicated to those goals. Her plans for her future seem to change day-to-day and she’s as spontaneous as the weather. This also applies to her romantic life. She has only been in New York City for two years and has already gone through four consecutive boyfriends. She is looking for Mr. Right and so far hasn’t even come close to finding him. But she will learn…someday.
She is a classy girl from Manchester, England and her background is fairly evident in the way she speaks and displays herself to others. She gives off an air of working class toughness and she’s not afraid to throw a few punches if it will help her get her way. She is by no means, however, a working class girl. Her father is a famous pop musician, which therefore tends to give her a slightly more narcissistic view of herself. She doesn’t want for much, and what she does want, she gets. However, just because she knows what she’s got does not mean she is a bad person. She is, in fact, sweet and loving to almost everyone she meets.
Because she is fading, she has a “live each day to the fullest” attitude. She knows that this is her last chance to make a mark on the world, and she hopes to be well-known in this life so that generations of Tales will remember her when she’s gone. Since she is an old soul, she is a bit more at ease with the idea of giving advice to Tales or just being a positive presence in their lives. She is sort of like a grandmother in a young woman’s skin, and though this fact saddens her sometimes, she also feels pride in the fact that she is helping people and making them happy.

The Harmony [Open!] - This is Luna’s best friend. She is someone that shares many things in common with Luna, apart from being a tale. They spend a lot of their time together and are there for each other through thick and thin. She is very protective of this person and supports them no matter what.
The Fermata [Open!] - This is another one of Luna's close friends. She is someone that Luna tends to protect and give advice to, with varying degrees of success. They are often seen together, especially in situations where Luna feels she needs to protect her.
The Melody [Open!] - This is someone Luna admires greatly. She is someone that inspires Luna to make the best of her life. She may not even be aware of how much Luna looks up to her, but she strives to be just like her.
The Consonance [Open!] - This is someone that Luna gets along great with. Their personalities blend nicely together and they always end up having a great laugh. If Luna ever needs to spend time with someone, this person is only a phone call away.
The Dissonance [Open!] - This is the one person Luna cannot stand. He annoys the hell out of her and makes her try to avoid him at all costs. There is always a sort of tension between them whenever they meet and it is very obvious that they are not friends.
